OCCEN organized one day policy roundtable on finding workable strategies for amplifying youth voices in Nigeria’s political space. OCCEN was able to patronized the partnership   organized youth groups for the event like Nigeria Youth Parliament and Northern Youth Coalition

On the 19th October 2016, OCCEN organized one day policy roundtable on finding workable strategies for amplifying youth voices in Nigeria’s political space. OCCEN was able to patronized the partnership   organized youth groups for the event like Nigeria Youth Parliament and Northern Youth Coalition. During the event participants unanimously  proposed that all states directorate for youth development and all other relevant agencies working on youth related issues should ensure that a valid analysis be done through consultation with youth groups in order to establishes the safety, efficacy, and mode of policies that impacted the youth in general. This will also help government and development partners to have sufficient information to make informed judgments about how youth policies and program can be design
